IT IS ESSENTIAL & EXPECTED that you already have your own piano when taking lessons with me.
Please ONLY CONTACT me for lessons once you have your instrument, ready & set up for practising.
I only provide personalized, individual lessons and only at my Victoria Park address.
I do not teach groups and I do not travel to lessons.
Parents are more than welcome to sit in during their children’s lessons.

Please don’t park/drive on the driveway or verge. Avoid parking in front of neighbours’ houses when possible. Park directly in front of our house or across the road.
2.
Arrive on time. Ring the doorbell ON your lesson start time (not early). Don’t worry about interrupting. It lets me know you’re here and means that all students get their full lesson.
3.
Clean your hands. Before you ring the bell, use hand sanitiser provided (parents and siblings too, please). This can reduce tummy bugs by ~30% and respiratory infections by ~20%.
4.
Limit the room to 3 people (including me). Limiting the number of people in the room helps reduce the spread of illness and is less disruptive to lessons.
5.
Stamp/wipe your shoes before entering. Thank you for helping to keep our home clean for everyone.
6.
Give 24-hour notice to cancel. Let me know as soon as you know that you’ll need to miss class. Last-minute may incur a charge. Especially for events you could plan ahead.
7.
Stay home if you’re unwell. A hint of cold/flu means no lesson. Even if last minute, please cancel (you’ll not be charged) and never bring along anyone who is unwell.
8.
Not practising is not a reason to skip. Don’t worry if you haven’t had time to practise, showing up for your lessons is the perfect way to get back into it.
9.
Check non-teaching dates online. If you’re ever unsure, all non-teaching, holiday dates will always be listed on my home page plus at the top of this page.
